Day 4 Championship Game Recap

Iker R threw a shutout to lead Monterrey, Mexico past Placentia, California 2-0 on Monday.

Both teams were strong on the hill. Monterrey, Mexico pitchers struck out six, while Placentia, California sat down three.

Rayden R took the loss for Placentia, California. The pitcher went three innings, allowing one run on four hits, striking out two and walking two.

Alexis drove the middle of the lineup, leading Monterrey, Mexico with two runs batted in. The shortstop went 3-for-4 on the day. Iker collected two hits for Monterrey, Mexico in two at bats. Monterrey, Mexico turned one double play in the game.
